Picking a gift for a keytarist
A keytarist is the one at the front of the band with a keyboard strapped on like a guitar, usually playing the lead lines and the fills that carry a song through a set. Keytarists play bars, church stages, school bands, garage projects and the occasional wedding, and most of them have spent years explaining what that thing around their neck is. A shirt with the word keytarist on it answers that question before anyone asks. What lands best is something that shows you know the instrument and the scene: their band name, the venue where they play most, or the year they started. Keytarists tend to wear their gear out to the gig and to the diner after, so a tee or hoodie they'll reach for on the drive is a better bet than something that only comes out for photos. A mug suits the rehearsal space, where the coffee gets cold while the arrangement gets argued over.
Keytarist gift questions
What is a keytarist?
A keytarist plays a keytar, a keyboard worn on a strap like a guitar. The instrument is often used for lead melodies and synth lines in rock, pop and 80s-style bands.
Can I add their band name to the shirt?
Yes. Many designs have a second line for a band name, a venue or a year. Type it in and the preview will update so you can check the spacing.
Is there a keytarist design for kids?
There are a few kids tees and dark kids tees with this word. Use the product filter to find them.
What should I get a keytarist who plays in a few bands?
A tee or hoodie with a neutral design works well, since it fits any project. Add a band name only if they're tied to one group.
What sizes do the keytarist shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a keytarist gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
