Gifts from Kobuk
Kobuk is a small village in northwest Alaska, on the Kobuk River, above the Arctic Circle. The people who live there know the river, the long winters and the seasonal rhythms that shape daily life, and they carry that connection with them wherever they go. A gift with Kobuk on it is a way to say you know where they come from. For someone who grew up there or still calls it home, a tee or hoodie with the village name reads as a point of pride, and a mug on the kitchen counter is a small daily reminder of home. For a relative who moved away, a baby onesie with Kobuk can mark a new family's connection to a place they may not have visited yet. Because the name is less familiar to most shoppers, you can also add a second line with the year they moved or the family name to make the gift more personal.
Kobuk gift questions
Is Kobuk a city?
Kobuk is a small village in northwest Alaska rather than a large city. Many people who live there or have family there will recognize the name immediately, so a Kobuk design often means more than a generic place shirt.
Can I add a second line to a Kobuk design?
Many designs have a second line for a year, a family name or a detail. Type it into the text box and the preview will update so you can check the spacing.
What's a good gift for someone who grew up in Kobuk?
A hoodie or mug works well, since both are things people use every day. A tee with the year they left or a family name adds a personal touch.
What sizes do the kobuk shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a Kobuk gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
