Picking a gift for a l d rn
L&D RNs work the delivery room and the postpartum floor, often on feet that have been standing since a long night shift started. Labor and delivery nurses tend to be the ones who catch babies and comfort families at three in the morning, and they usually don't get much recognition beyond the people they helped. A gift that marks that work lands well: a tee for the drive home after a rough shift, a hoodie for the cold hallway, or a mug that's clearly theirs so it doesn't disappear from the break room. What makes it feel personal is the detail only a labor and delivery nurse would recognize. Put L&D or Labor & Delivery on the shirt, and add their credential, like RN or BSN, if they earned one. If you're buying for a whole unit, one design with each nurse's name on their own shirt makes a warmer gift than another round of snacks. Many hospitals celebrate nurses during Nurses Week in early May, which is a common time people order.
L D RN gift questions
Can I add RN or BSN to an L&D shirt?
Yes. Type the credential into the text box next to or under the main word. The preview updates so you can check the spacing before you order.
What's a good gift for a new labor and delivery nurse?
A tee or hoodie with L&D and their name marks the start of the job. It's something they'll wear on shift and be glad someone thought about.
Can I order L&D shirts for my whole unit?
Yes. Use the Team Shop: choose one design, paste a list of names, and pick a size for each person. Each shirt prints with its own name.
Are there L&D designs for kids too?
Some designs come as kids tees and baby onesies. Use the product filter to see which ones are available for this word.
What sizes do the l d rn shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a l d rn gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
