Picking a gift for a lab director
A lab director usually spends more time in meetings, budget reviews and staff schedules than at a bench, but they still carry the weight of every result that leaves the building. They sign off on protocols, chase down instrument downtime and field the calls when something needs to be rerun. The gifts they tend to use are the ones that acknowledge that mix of science and management. A tee or hoodie with their title gives them something comfortable to wear on the days they do get into the lab floor, and a mug with their name is a small piece of recognition for the early mornings spent reviewing data before anyone else arrives. You can make it personal by adding their name or the lab or department they run on the second line, so it's clearly theirs and not a generic title shirt. If you're buying for a whole lab team, the Team Shop lets you order one design and put each person's name on their own shirt, which works well for a farewell, an anniversary of the lab or a promotion celebration.
Lab Director gift questions
Can I add the lab or department name to a lab director shirt?
Yes. Many designs have a second line for a lab, department or name. Type it in and the preview will show how it fits before you order.
What's a good gift for a new lab director?
A mug or hoodie with their title and name is a practical welcome gift. It's personal, they'll use it, and it marks the new role without being over the top.
Can I order shirts for everyone on the lab team?
Yes. Use the Team Shop: choose one design, paste a list of names and pick a size for each person. Each shirt prints with its own name.
What sizes do the lab director shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a lab director gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
