Picking a gift for a lab support tech
Lab support techs keep the bench running. They prep reagents, calibrate instruments, restock consumables and fix the freezer alarm at two in the morning, usually without much credit. A gift that names their job tells them someone noticed the work that doesn't show up in the publications. A tee or hoodie with lab support tech on it is something they can wear to a gritty afternoon of cleanup or to a lab holiday potluck. A mug fits the bench or the break room, where they'll see it every morning. If they're new to the role or just finished a training program, a hoodie with the start year is a nice marker. You can personalize the second line with their lab, their shift, or their name, which turns a job title into something that's clearly theirs. If you're buying for a whole core facility, the Team Shop can put every tech's name on their own shirt in one order.
Lab Support Tech gift questions
Can I add their lab or department name?
Yes. Many designs have a second line, so type the lab, core or department there and the preview will update so you can check the spacing.
Is there a kids or baby version of this design?
Kids tees and a baby onesie are available for this word, so you can use the same design in a smaller size if it suits the gift.
Can I order for several techs at once?
Yes. The Team Shop lets you choose one design, paste a list of names and pick a size for each person, and every shirt prints with its own name.
What sizes do the lab support tech shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a lab support tech gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
