Picking a gift for a lab technician
Lab technicians spend long stretches on their feet in clean rooms, reading small numbers and catching the errors nobody else notices, and most of their work never gets seen by the people it helps. A gift that acknowledges the actual job tends to land better than a generic joke tee. Think about the things they carry through a shift: gloves, a lab coat, a stack of sample tubes, a list of tests due by noon. A soft tee they can wear on a day off, a hoodie for the chilly lab that runs cold, or a mug for the bench where coffee goes cold while they work all tend to get used. To make it theirs, put lab technician on the front and add their specialty, their lab, or the credential they earned on the second line, so it reads as their own job instead of a stock design. A shirt or mug with their name in the preview gives it the personal touch that a generic gift lacks.
Lab Technician gift questions
Can I add a specialty like phlebotomy or microbiology to the design?
Yes. Many designs have a second line, so type the specialty there and the preview updates. Check the spacing before you order to make sure it fits.
Can I add a credential like MLT or ASCP?
Yes, as long as it's a credential they actually hold. Type it on the second line, and when you're not sure of the exact abbreviation, ask them first.
Is there a day when lab technicians are celebrated?
Medical Laboratory Professionals Week is held in April each year. It's a good time to order, so plan a few weeks ahead.
Can I order matching shirts for a whole lab team?
Yes. Use the Team Shop: pick one design, paste the team's names, and choose a size for each person. Each shirt prints with its own name.
What sizes do the lab technician shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a lab technician gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
