Gifts from Lafitte
Lafitte is a small place name, and that's worth keeping in mind: it's the kind of word that tends to mean something specific to the person it describes. If you know the town, the bayou, the parish or the neighborhood they're from, use those details and the gift will land. If you're less sure what Lafitte means to them, lean on the person instead. Someone who's proud of where they grew up or where they live will wear a shirt with that name on it to the grocery store and to the game. A tee in a dark color reads well for everyday wear, and a hoodie works for the cold months and the drive home. For a home base, an 11 oz mug with the name on it is a daily reminder. You can add a second line for a year, a street or a nickname to make the design theirs.
