Gifts for Laundry Room Attendants

Picking a gift for a laundry room attendant

A laundry room attendant keeps a building's wash and dry running, often in a basement or a corner of an apartment complex, and mostly gets noticed only when a machine breaks. Their day is folding, restocking detergent, clearing lint traps and fielding questions from residents who just want their clothes done. A shirt or mug with their title on it tells them someone sees the work, and the less-showy workers in a building tend to appreciate that. Add a name, a building or a shift, and it becomes personal rather than generic. Something soft for the drive in works well, and a hoodie suits the cool, humid laundry room, which tends to run warm from the dryers and cold everywhere else. A mug for the break room is a quiet, useful choice, especially if the whole maintenance crew shares one coffee pot. If you're buying for several attendants across properties, the Team Shop lets you use one design and print each person's name on their own shirt.
