Gifts for Library Media Assistants

Picking a gift for a library media assistant

A library media assistant keeps the school library running day to day: checking out books and devices, helping students find sources, shelving and repairing materials, and setting up the displays that get kids to pick up a book in the first place. It's a job that mostly goes unseen until something goes missing or a student needs help, so a gift that names the role is one they'll notice. Put the title on the shirt exactly as their school uses it, and add the school or district name on a second line if you know it. A mug works well for the morning check-in at the circulation desk, and a hoodie suits the cold corner of the library where the staff often end up. If you're buying for the whole media team, the Team Shop lets you order one design with each person's name, so every assistant gets a shirt in their own size.
