Picking a gift for a licensed professional counselor
A licensed professional counselor spends the day listening closely to other people, and the hours after work are often the only time they get to be listened to by no one. A gift for them should feel like it belongs to their own life, not just their job. Many counselors carry a mug through long afternoons of case notes, and a soft hoodie is what they reach for on the drive home or during a quiet evening. Put their credential on it, LPC or LPCC or whatever their state calls it, so it reads as a mark of years of supervised work rather than a generic job shirt. If you're buying for a counselor who is studying for licensure, a tee with the credential they're working toward can be a small way of saying you saw how hard they've pushed. Add the year they were licensed if you know it. The details you choose are what make the gift theirs.
Licensed Professional Counselor gift questions
What credential should I put on a counselor's gift?
Use the exact abbreviation they use, such as LPC, LPCC, LMHC or LCPC, depending on their state. If you're unsure, ask them or use their full title. You can type it in the second line of most designs.
Can I add their name as well as the credential?
Yes. Many designs have a second line, so you can put their name on top and the credential underneath, or the other way around. The preview shows the layout before you order.
Is there a shirt for a whole group of counselors?
Yes. The Team Shop prints one design for a group. Paste each person's name and choose a size, and every shirt gets its own name.
Which product works best for a counselor?
Most people choose the mug or the hoodie. The mug is handy at the desk, and the hoodie suits the comfortable days between clients.
What sizes do the licensed professional counselor shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a licensed professional counselor gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
