Picking a gift for a major gifts officer
A major gifts officer spends their days building relationships with donors, which means a lot of meetings, a lot of thank-you notes and a lot of time on the phone or on the road. Most of that work happens out of sight, so the gifts that land tend to be the ones that acknowledge the job itself. A tee or hoodie with their title on it is a small joke they'll likely enjoy, especially on a casual Friday when everyone else is in khakis. A mug on the desk is a daily reminder that someone noticed the effort behind the fundraising numbers. If you know the organization, the cause or the year they joined, add that as a second line so the piece feels personal rather than generic. Development offices are also full of people who work late and celebrate small wins together, so a shirt that matches a team design can help a whole department feel seen.
Major Gifts Officer gift questions
Can I add the organization name or a year to the shirt?
Many designs have a second line for a name, year or group. Type it in and the preview updates so you can check the spacing before you order.
Is there a version for a whole development team?
Yes. Use the Team Shop: choose one design, paste a list of names and pick a size for each person. Each shirt prints with its own name.
What's a good gift for a major gifts officer who is leaving?
A mug or tee with their title and the year they joined makes a lasting keepsake. Add a short line of thanks on the second line if the design allows it.
Do the designs come in kids sizes too?
Some designs are also available as kids tees and a baby onesie. Use the product filter to see which ones are offered for this title.
What sizes do the major gifts officer shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a major gifts officer gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
