Picking a gift for a manager policy
A manager policy person spends the day translating rules into decisions: what the handbook says, what the team needs, and what happens when those two disagree. They field the questions nobody wants to answer and carry the weight of enforcing guidelines they didn't always write. The gifts they keep are the ones that acknowledge that balancing act. A soft tee for the days they'd rather be home, a hoodie for the early meetings when the office is still cold, or a mug that's clearly theirs so the team stops reaching for it at the coffee station. Add their title or department on the second line so it reads as theirs rather than a generic office shirt. A hoodie or mug with their name and role also works well for a promotion or a first policy-manager job, since it marks the step up. If you're buying for a whole policy team, one design with each person's name on their own shirt is a more memorable thank-you than another round of takeout.
