Picking a gift for a manager recovery
A manager in recovery has usually spent years managing everything except themselves, so a gift that acknowledges the harder, quieter work of getting better can land deeply. They may be the one who runs the team, the shift, or the household, and recovery asks them to show up for their own life with the same steadiness. A shirt, hoodie or mug with the word manager and recovery on it is a way of naming that they're doing something hard and still doing their job. Many people in recovery value gifts that feel personal rather than sentimental, so keep the wording plain and the design simple. You can add a second line with a sobriety date, a year, or the name they go by. Pair it with a card that mentions something specific you've noticed about how they've been showing up, since that tends to mean more than the shirt itself.
Manager Recovery gift questions
Can I add a sobriety date or number of years?
Many designs have a second line you can use for a year or a number. Type it in and the preview will show you how it sits before you order.
Is this a good gift for someone who's just starting recovery?
It can be, as long as they'd want to be recognized for it. If they keep their recovery private, a mug or tee they can wear without drawing attention may suit them better than a hoodie.
Can I order for a whole team of managers in recovery?
Yes, but think about privacy first. Use the Team Shop only if everyone involved is comfortable with the design, and paste the names you've confirmed with each person.
What sizes do the manager recovery shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a manager recovery gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
