Picking a gift for a manager transfer
A manager transfer is someone who moved into a management role from a different team, branch or company, so they've had to learn a new set of people, systems and expectations while still carrying the habits that made them good at the old job. That's a lot of quiet work, and most of it goes unnoticed. What lands well for them is a gift that acknowledges the move itself: a shirt or hoodie that says the title and the fresh start, or a mug for the first morning in the new office. Add the team or department on a second line if you know it, so the gift says where they're landing and not just what they do. Keep the wording simple and true to how your workplace talks about the role, and it will read as a nod from someone who noticed the change.
Manager Transfer gift questions
What should I put on the shirt for someone who just transferred into management?
Their title is the main word, and a second line can hold their team, department or the year they moved over. Keep it short so it reads clearly on the shirt.
Can I order shirts for a whole team that's getting a new manager?
Yes. Use the Team Shop to pick one design, paste the team's names, and choose a size for each person. Each shirt prints with its own name.
Is a mug a good choice for a manager who's just changed roles?
It can be. A mug is something they'll use every day at the new desk, and a name or title on it gives the gift a personal touch without being too formal.
What sizes do the manager transfer shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a manager transfer gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
