Picking a gift for a manufacturing engineering internship
A manufacturing engineering intern is usually spending the summer on a plant floor, in a lab or in a meeting about tolerances, trying to prove they belong in the room. They're learning CAD, reading process sheets and figuring out why a part keeps coming off the line a few thousandths out of spec. A gift that marks that stretch lands well when it's a little practical: a hoodie for the cold stamping floor, a tee for the weekend, a mug for the early shift. What makes it theirs is the detail only another engineer would catch. Add the internship title, the program they're in or the graduation year, and the shirt stops being generic engineering merch and becomes a record of where they started. Interns often wear what they're given on the first day, so a good shirt can also become the thing they reach for when they're nervous about being the new person.
Manufacturing Engineering Internship gift questions
Can I add a school or company name to the shirt?
Many designs have a second line for a school, program or year. Type it there and the preview will update so you can check spacing before ordering.
What if they're starting a new internship next summer?
You can change the second line to the new year or team name and order again. A mug or tee works well for a second round.
Is there a design for a whole intern cohort?
Yes. In the Team Shop, pick one design, paste the list of names and choose a size for each person.
What sizes do the manufacturing engineering internship shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a manufacturing engineering internship gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
