Gifts from Margate
Margate is a seaside town on the Kent coast, and people who grew up there tend to carry it with them. Think sandy beaches, the wind off the Channel, and a seafront that looks its best in summer when the day-trippers arrive. A Margate shirt suits someone who has walked the sea wall for years, a relative who moved away and still talks about the town, or a visitor who fell for it on a short break and wants a reminder. Because the word is simple, the details do the work: add a street, a beach, a school name or the year they first went there, and the design becomes a story only the two of you share. A Margate mug on the desk is a small piece of the coast in an otherwise landlocked week. For families, kids' tees and baby onesies make the town's name the first word a child wears.
Margate gift questions
Can I add a beach or street name to a Margate design?
Many designs have a second line. Type the beach, street or place there and the preview will update so you can check how it sits before you order.
Is there a kids version of the Margate shirt?
Yes. Kids tees and dark kids tees are available, and there are baby onesies for the youngest visitors. Use the product filter to see them.
Can I order Margate shirts for a family trip or group?
Yes. The Team Shop lets you choose one design, paste a list of names and pick a size for each person, so everyone on the trip gets their own shirt.
What's a good Margate gift for someone who grew up there?
A tee or hoodie with the year they left, or a mug with a street from their childhood. Small personal details usually land better than the town name alone.
What sizes do the margate shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a Margate gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
