Picking a gift for a mass spec
A mass spec person is the one who makes the instrument hum all night while the rest of the lab sleeps, and who can tell you by smell and by the shape of a peak when a run went wrong. Their work is part chemistry, part troubleshooting a machine that never quite behaves, and part patience with samples that arrive late and in the wrong buffer. A gift that acknowledges that lands well. A tee or hoodie with mass spec on it works for the lab bench and the commute, and a mug covers the long stretch between data runs. You can add a second line for their title, such as Analyst, Facility Manager or Research Scientist, or for the lab or group they're in. Keep it to the role they actually hold so it reads as theirs and not as a generic science shirt.
Mass Spec gift questions
Can I add a job title or lab name to a mass spec design?
Yes. Many designs have a second line, so type their title there or the lab or group they work in. The preview updates so you can check the spacing before you order.
What do you put on a mass spec gift for a student?
A tee or hoodie with their program or year on the second line works well for a student who's spent late nights tuning instruments. A mug suits the long stretch of thesis writing.
Can I order shirts for my whole mass spec team?
Yes. Use the Team Shop: choose one design, paste a list of names, and pick a size for each person. Each shirt prints with its own name.
What sizes do the mass spec shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a mass spec gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
