Picking a gift for a material director
A material director usually sits between the buyers, the plant floor and the finance people, which means the job is mostly keeping parts flowing on time and at a price nobody complains about. They spend a lot of their week on supplier calls, forecasts and the occasional late-night shortage. A gift that acknowledges that work tends to land better than a generic office joke. Put their title on a tee or hoodie and add the company name or the team they lead on a second line. A mug with their title is a good pick for the desk, where they'll reach for it through every planning cycle. If you're buying for their whole team, the Team Shop lets you print one design with each person's name on their own shirt, which is a nice way to thank a group that keeps the lines running.
Material Director gift questions
Can I add my company name or a team name under the title?
Yes. Most designs have a second line. Type the company, site or team name there and check the preview before you order.
Is material director a good gift for a promotion?
It can be. A title shirt or mug marks the step up and is something they'll use at work, which makes it more than a token gesture.
Can I use a shorter version of the title?
Yes. You can type Materials Director, Material Dir or just the initials in the text box, and the preview will show how it looks.
What sizes do the material director shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a material director gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
