Picking a gift for a mechanical engineering intern
A mechanical engineering intern is usually somewhere between the classroom and a real job, spending summers and co-op semesters in a shop, on a test floor, or at a CAD workstation with more questions than answers. They're learning to read drawings, tolerances and stress numbers while trying to look like they belong on the engineering team. A gift that acknowledges that stretch lands well. A tee or hoodie they can wear to the plant or the lab tells them they've joined the profession, even if they're still the newest name on the org chart. The mug suits the early mornings when the coffee is doing most of the work. Add the company name, the program, or the graduation year in the second line so it fits their path. For a smaller boost, a mug or tee tied to the first project or internship season is a gift that marks the moment they started, not just the job title.
