Gifts from Mechanicstown
Mechanicstown is a small place name, and a shirt with it on the front usually goes to someone who grew up there or still calls it home. A town that size runs on people who know each other: the diner regulars, the volunteer fire crew, the kids who grew up in the same few streets. A Mechanicstown shirt is how they say where they're from without a long explanation, and it works just as well for the relative who moved away and misses the place. Because the name is short, the design has room for one more line. Add the street, the school, the year they left or the year they moved back, and it becomes a shirt about their particular Mechanicstown. For a transplant, a mug with the town name is a daily reminder of where they came from, and a hoodie is the warm choice for anyone whose hometown gets cold.
Mechanicstown gift questions
Can I add a street or school name under the town name?
Yes. Many designs have a second line. Type the street, school or year there and the preview will update so you can check how it sits before you order.
Is there a kids version of a Mechanicstown shirt?
Yes. Kids tees come in light and dark options, and there are baby onesies too. Use the product filter to see which designs are available for each.
What if I'm not sure how the town name is spelled on a sign or a map?
Check a map or the town's own website first, then type the spelling they use. The preview shows exactly how the word will print.
What sizes do the mechanicstown shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a Mechanicstown gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
