Gifts from Mechanicville
Mechanicville is a small city in Saratoga County, New York, on the Hudson River, and people who grew up there tend to hold onto that. A shirt with the city name is how they show it at a high school reunion, a Saratoga County fair, or a visit back to see family on Main Street. Small towns like this often have people who left for college or work and came back, or who moved away and still call it home. A Mechanicville shirt suits all of them. Add a second line for the neighborhood, the class year, or the street they grew up on, and it becomes a personal piece instead of a generic town tee. For someone living far away, a mug with the city name is a quiet reminder of where they're from.
