Picking a gift for a media relations director
Media relations directors spend their days fielding calls from reporters on deadline, prepping spokespeople for interviews, and keeping the news cycle from catching the organization off guard. It's a job that runs on phones and inboxes, often late into the evening, and the people who do it well are usually the last ones anyone thanks. A gift that acknowledges the work, the pressure, and the sense of humor it takes to stay calm when a story breaks is what lands. A mug works well for the office, since they're likely to be on their third coffee before a press release goes out. A hoodie suits the long days when the newsroom air conditioning is set too cold. Add their title, or a line like Media Relations, so the piece reflects the role they actually hold rather than a generic office joke.
Media Relations Director gift questions
Can I put the exact job title on the shirt?
Yes. Type media relations director into the main text box. If the title is long, a shorter version such as media relations or press director may fit the design better, and the preview will show you how it lays out.
What do media relations directors usually like as gifts?
Practical things they'll use during the workday, like a mug or a warm hoodie, tend to work well. A shirt with their title on it also shows you recognize the role, which many people in this job appreciate.
Is there a day to celebrate them?
Public relations professionals are often recognized in a national PR week held in the fall, but the date varies, so check before you plan around it. Any season works for a gift.
What sizes do the media relations director shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a media relations director gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
