Picking a gift for a medical research tech
Medical research techs spend their days at lab benches, pipetting samples, running assays and keeping careful notes that someone else will eventually read. Long hours in a cold lab mean the gifts that land are the ones built for that life: a soft tee for the commute, a hoodie for the freezer-cold cold room, a mug for the coffee that's been reheated three times. Their job is mostly invisible outside the lab, so a shirt that names it is a nice way to say you see the work. Add the lab or department they're in, or the year they started, to make it theirs rather than a generic science shirt. If you're buying for a whole research group, one design in the Team Shop with each person's name on their own shirt makes a better gift than another round of donuts. The field rewards patience and precision, and a gift that's a little careful and specific fits that well.
Medical Research Tech gift questions
Can I add their lab or department to the shirt?
Many designs have a second line. Type the lab, department or team name there and the preview updates so you can check the spacing before you order.
Is there a shirt that works for a new graduate in the field?
Yes. A hoodie or tee with the job title and the year they started or finished training marks the milestone and gives them something to wear through their first lab rotations.
Do the designs come in kids sizes or baby sizes?
There are kids tees and a baby onesie design for this title. Use the product filter to see them.
Can I get the same design on a mug and a shirt?
Yes. Most designs are offered on more than one product, so you can pair a tee with a matching mug in the same style.
What sizes do the medical research tech shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a medical research tech gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
