Gifts from Metaline Falls
Metaline Falls is a small town in Pend Oreille County, in the northeast corner of Washington state, tucked against the Idaho line and the Pend Oreille River. People who grew up there tend to stay connected to it, whether they still live in the valley or ended up in Spokane or Seattle. A shirt with the town name is how they show that local pride, especially at reunions, school events, or when they're out of state and someone asks where they're from. Because it's a small place, the details that matter most are personal: the high school class they were in, the year they moved away, or the family that's been there for generations. Many designs have a second line, so you can add a year or a name underneath. For someone who left and misses home, a mug with the town on it is a quiet daily reminder of where they started.
