Picking a gift for a meter reader
Meter readers spend their days walking routes in every kind of weather, checking gauges on side yards, around back fences and along alleys most people never see. The job takes early starts, a lot of steps and a good eye for anything that looks off, and it's rarely thanked. A gift that says meter reader on it tells them someone noticed the work. A tee or a hoodie suits the long days outside, and a mug fits the coffee they drink before the first route of the morning. Add the utility company they work for if you know it, or their route number or years on the job in the second line, and the shirt becomes theirs rather than a generic job shirt. If you're buying for a whole crew, the Team Shop lets you put one design on every shirt with each person's name, which is a nicer thank-you than another round of donuts.
Meter Reader gift questions
Can I add the utility company or a route number to the shirt?
Yes. Many designs have a second line for a company, route, or year. Type it in and the preview updates so you can check the spacing before you order.
Is a meter reader gift a good pick for a coworker?
It can be. Meter reading is often a small team, so a shared design with everyone's name works well for a crew, and a mug or tee is a light, friendly gift for a single colleague.
Are there meter reader designs for kids?
Kids tees and a baby onesie are available for this word. Kids shirts are a playful way for a family to show pride in a parent who reads meters.
Can I order a meter reader design in a dark shirt?

What sizes do the meter reader shirts come in?
