Gifts from Mims
Mims is a small community in Florida, and the people who call it home usually know each other, know the road out to the lake, and feel a little protective of the place. A shirt that says Mims is the kind of gift that gets worn to the local hardware store, to the coffee spot where everyone knows the regulars, and to the high school football game on Friday night. Because Mims is small and not a place most people have heard of, a Mims gift tends to prompt a question, and that's part of the fun. The person who's proud of where they're from will like having a way to say it without a speech. For someone who grew up there and left, a Mims mug or hoodie is a quiet reminder of home. Think about the second line: a street name, a school year or a family name can turn a town shirt into something only they would wear.
