Gifts from Moffett Field
Moffett Field is the NASA Ames Research Center's home in Mountain View, California, and the hangar and runway out there are a big part of why the Bay Area has a space-minded streak. A lot of people who've spent time on or around the field, whether they worked there, flew out of it, or grew up watching the airship hangars rise over the peninsula, feel a real attachment to the name. A shirt or hoodie with Moffett Field on it is a quiet nod to that history. For someone who now lives far from the Bay, a mug is a small daily reminder of home. If you're buying for someone who works in aerospace or research, their own team name or program can go on the second line, which makes the design feel like theirs rather than a souvenir.
