Mongrel gifts for the people who love them
A mongrel is a mixed-breed dog, and the mixed-breed owner tends to be devoted in a way that's easy to spot. They'll tell you the vet called their dog a bit of everything, that nobody can agree on the breed, and that the dog is smarter than any purebred they've met. A gift for that person should lean into the mix rather than apologize for it. Think of the walks, the shelter adoption story, the coat that's a little bit of this and a little bit of that. Mongrel is a word with some attitude, and a shirt or mug that uses it proudly suits an owner who's proud of their rescue. You can add the dog's name on a second line, or their birth year or adoption year, so the design is about one particular animal and not just a category. Mixed-breed owners often have a favorite bowl, leash or coat already, so a mug or hoodie that they can use every morning or on every cold walk is usually the gift that gets worn out first.
Mongrel gift questions
Can I add my dog's name to a mongrel design?
Many designs have a second line. Type the dog's name there and the preview will show how it sits under the word before you order.
Are there mongrel designs for kids or babies?
Yes. There are kids tees and a baby onesie with mongrel designs, so families with a rescue dog can match across ages.
Can I put an adoption year on the design?
Yes. Type the adoption year on the second line. It's a nice way to mark the day the dog came home.
What sizes do the mongrel shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a mongrel gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
