Gifts from Monona
Monona is a small city on the east side of Lake Monona, just across the water from Madison, Wisconsin. Its residents are often proud of the lakeside parks, the easy access to the water, and a quieter pace than the capital next door. A Monona shirt is a way to claim that hometown identity, whether the person grew up there, still lives there, or simply loves the lake. The best gifts tie to something they can point to: the lake they walk along, the neighborhood they call home, or the school they went to. Because the city name is short, a simple design works well, and you can add a second line for a street, a year, or a family name. Monona has designs across tees, hoodies and mugs, so you can match the gift to how the person likes to dress and what they drink in the morning.
Monona gift questions
Can I add a street or neighborhood to the design?
Many designs have a second line. Type the street or neighborhood there, and the preview will show you how it fits before you order.
Is there a kids option for a Monona shirt?
Yes. There are kids tees in light and dark colors, and baby onesies if you're buying for a new arrival.
Can I use the Monona design for a family reunion?
Yes. The Team Shop lets you paste a list of names and choose a size for each person, so the whole group can wear the same design.
Can I put a year on the shirt?
Yes. Type the year into the second line of the design, for example a graduation year or the year the family moved to town.
What sizes do the monona shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a Monona gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
