Gifts from Neola
Neola is a small town in western Iowa, the sort of place where people know each other by face and the high school football game is still an event. Folks who grew up there often end up in bigger cities but keep the hometown name close, and a shirt or mug with Neola on it says where they're from without any explanation needed. It's a good gift for someone who's moved away and misses the place, or for a person who's proud of a small hometown and wears that pride openly. Because Neola is a smaller name, the most meaningful version of this gift is usually the one that adds something personal to it: a class year, a family name, or the year they moved back or left. Mugs suit the grandparents who never left, hoodies suit the college student heading out for their first winter away, and kids' tees let parents pass the name down to the next generation.
