Gifts from New London
New London is a harbor town on the Thames River in southeastern Connecticut, and people who grew up there tend to carry it with them. Whether they're home for the summer, back for a Thanksgiving table, or living three states away, a New London shirt says where they're from without a long explanation. The town has a working waterfront and a lot of history on its streets, so a shirt or mug with the city name and a neighborhood or street they remember is more personal than a generic souvenir. For someone who moved away, a mug is the daily reminder. For someone still around, a hoodie for the cold harbor mornings is practical and warm. Type the city name, then add a second line with a year, a school, or a nickname from their childhood to make it theirs.
