Gifts from New Madrid
New Madrid is a small river town in the Missouri Bootheel, on the Mississippi, and the people who live there or grew up there tend to hold onto that connection hard. A shirt with the town name is how someone who moved away to Memphis or St. Louis or the Army still says where they're from, and it's the kind of gift that gets worn to the county fair, to a family reunion, or just around the house on a Saturday. Because the town is small and specific, the best gifts usually lean personal: a graduation year from the local high school, a family name, or a simple line that only someone from there would get. Hoodies suit the colder months and the drive back home, mugs suit the kitchen table, and kids tees and onesies let a family pass the town name down. Type it in, check the preview, and the gift is already theirs.
