Gifts from New Roads
New Roads is a small town, so the people who call it home tend to be very attached to it. Whether someone grew up there, moved back, or married into a family from the area, a shirt with the town name is a quick way to say where they belong. Many people from small towns carry that name with them to college, to city apartments, and to family visits, and a New Roads tee or hoodie is the kind of thing they wear without thinking about it. For someone who moved away, a mug on the kitchen counter is a small daily reminder of home. A few details will make it theirs: add the year they graduated from the local school, a street, or the name of the family farm or business if they have one. Keep it simple and let the town name do the talking.
