Gifts from New Straitsville
New Straitsville is a small village in Perry County, Ohio, a former coal mining town in the hills of the southeastern part of the state. People who grew up there, or whose family did, tend to hold on to the name hard, even after they've moved to Columbus, Cincinnati or somewhere much farther away. A shirt with the town name is a way of saying where they come from without a long explanation. For someone who worked the mines or whose grandparents did, the name carries a history that a generic souvenir never will. Put the name on a hoodie for a cold Ohio winter, a tee for the homecoming weekend, or a mug for the transplant who still checks the local news. Because it's a small place, the design is also a good way to show you know it matters to them, even if you never visited yourself.
New Straitsville gift questions
Can I add a year or a family name to the design?
Many designs have a second line. Type a year, a family name or a street in there, and the preview updates so you can check it before ordering.
Is there a kids version for a child from New Straitsville?
Yes. Kids tees, dark kids tees and baby onesies are available for this name. Use the product filter to see those designs.
What if they've never lived in New Straitsville but their family did?
A shirt can still mean a lot. Many people wear a hometown name to honor a parent or grandparent who grew up there, and you can add a family surname to make it personal.

Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
