Picking a gift for a news anchor
News anchors spend their days switching between a teleprompter, a live feed and a producer talking in their ear, and they often start before dawn. The gifts they keep tend to be the ones that acknowledge the job without being a joke about it: a soft tee for the drive to the studio, a hoodie for the cold newsroom, or a mug for the first coffee before the early show. Put the words news anchor on the front and the station or city on a second line if you know it, and the shirt becomes theirs rather than generic. A mug works well on a desk where cups tend to disappear during a long shift. If you're buying for a whole newsroom crew, one design in the Team Shop with each person's name on their own shirt is a simple way to give everyone something they'll actually wear.
News Anchor gift questions
Can I add a station or city to a news anchor shirt?
Yes. Many designs have a second line, so you can type the station call letters, the city or a name there. The preview updates so you can check the spacing before you order.
Are there news anchor designs for kids?
Some designs come as kids tees, so a young fan of the newsroom can match a parent. Check the kids section to see which designs are available.
What's a good gift for someone just starting as an anchor?
A mug or tee with their name and news anchor on it marks the new role. It's something they can keep on the desk or wear on the first few busy weeks.
Can I put a name on the shirt along with the job title?
Yes. Type the name into the text box alongside news anchor, and the live preview shows how it will print.
What sizes do the news anchor shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a news anchor gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
