Picking a gift for a news internship
A news internship is often the first real newsroom experience someone gets, and it's usually a mix of early mornings, fact-checking, pitch meetings and more coffee runs than anyone admits. Interns are often students or recent graduates who are still figuring out whether the job is for them, and a gift that acknowledges that stage of their career lands well. Something they can wear to the office, on a reporting shoot, or on the commute home helps them feel like they belong to the profession. A hoodie or tee with the word news internship on it, plus a second line for their outlet, desk or class year, makes the gift specific to them. For a student working their first beat, a mug for the early-morning deadline routine is practical and a little funny. The best part is that you can personalize the second line in the text box and see the design update before you order.
News Internship gift questions
Can I add the name of their newspaper or station?
Yes. Many designs have a second line, so you can type in the outlet, desk or school name. The preview will show you how it looks before you order.
Is this a good gift for a student journalist?
It works well for students doing a summer or semester internship. Adding their school or graduation year helps it feel personal.
Are there kids or baby designs for this word?
There are a few kids tees and one baby onesie, but most designs are for adult tees, hoodies and mugs.
What sizes do the news internship shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a news internship gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
