Gifts from North Bend
North Bend is a small city in the foothills of the Cascades, a few miles from the Snoqualmie River and close enough to Seattle that plenty of its residents commute in. The people who call it home tend to be proud of the mountain views and the slower pace, and a shirt with the town name is how they say so at a trailhead or a grocery store two towns over. Because North Bend is small, a gift that carries the name lands with people who know exactly where it is and feel a little seen by it. For the hiker, the commuter who misses the mountains, or the kid who grew up here and moved away, a North Bend shirt or mug is an easy way to say you noticed where they're from. Add a second line with a neighborhood, a street or the year they moved in to make it theirs.
