Gifts from North Montpelier
North Montpelier is a small village in Washington County, Vermont, and people who grew up there tend to carry the name with them. A shirt with the village name is how someone who left, or never left, shows where they're from. Vermont winters are long, so a hoodie for a cold morning or a mug for a kitchen back home makes a practical gift. Many designs here have a second line, so you can add a street, a school year, or the family name underneath. That turns a town name into something closer to a memory. If the person you're shopping for is a transplant who misses the hills and the quiet, a shirt or mug with North Montpelier on it is a small reminder of home that doesn't need much explaining.
