Gifts from North New Portla
North New Portland is a small town in Maine, a place where a lot of people grew up knowing everyone at the post office and the diner. A town shirt tends to go to someone who left for college or a job and keeps the name close: a sibling who moved to Boston, a grandparent who still gets the local paper, a neighbor who always comes back for the Fourth. Since this is a small place, the best gifts are personal. Add the year they graduated from high school, a street, or a family name in the second line, so the shirt reads as theirs and not as a souvenir. A hoodie suits a cold Maine winter, and a mug on the kitchen counter is an easy daily reminder of home. If you're not sure how the town is written or what locals call it, the preview lets you check the spelling and spacing before you order.
