Picking a gift for an occupational therapist assistant
Occupational therapist assistants spend their days helping people relearn the everyday work of living: buttoning a shirt, getting back to a kitchen task, returning to school or a job after an injury. They work under the direction of an occupational therapist, and the progress they help bring about is usually slow and hard won, which is why a gift that acknowledges that effort tends to land well. A tee or hoodie for the drive to a clinic, or a mug for the early shift when the coffee is doing most of the work, says you noticed the job. You can make it theirs by putting the title on the shirt and adding their own text in the second line, such as their clinic, a specialty like pediatrics or hand therapy, or the year they finished their program. If they're still in school, a hoodie with the program year is a good way to mark the milestone before they've even started their first placement.
Occupational Therapist Assistant gift questions
Can I add their specialty or clinic name to the shirt?
Many designs have a second line. Type in a specialty like pediatrics or hand therapy, or a clinic or program name, and the preview will update so you can check the spacing.
Is occupational therapist assistant the same as occupational therapist?
No. An occupational therapist assistant works under the supervision of an occupational therapist. If you're unsure which title they use, check with them before ordering so the shirt matches their role.
Can I order shirts for my whole therapy team?
Yes. Use the Team Shop: choose one design, paste the team's names, and pick a size for each person. Each shirt prints with its own name.
What's a good gift for someone who just finished their program?
A hoodie or mug with their title and graduation year. It's something they'll use daily and it marks the moment they completed their training.
What sizes do the occupational therapist assistant shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does an occupational therapist assistant gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
