Picking a gift for an occupational therapist
Occupational therapists spend their days helping people relearn the everyday things: buttoning a shirt after a stroke, handwriting for a kid in second grade, getting back to the kitchen after a hand injury. Most of the work happens in clinics, hospitals, schools and people's homes, and it's often quiet, careful and very physical. A gift that acknowledges that work lands well. A tee or hoodie is useful for the commute, the home visits and the long weekend, and a mug works for the early-morning charting session. Put their name on it, or the word occupational therapist, and it becomes theirs rather than a generic gift. If you're buying for a whole department or a clinic team, the Team Shop lets you order one design with each person's name on their own shirt, which tends to be more appreciated than another box of donuts.
Occupational Therapist gift questions
Can I add a credential like OTR or COTA?
Yes. Type it into the second line of the design, or after their name, and the preview will show you how it sits before you order. Use the credential they actually hold.
Is there a specific day to celebrate occupational therapists?
Occupational Therapy Month is in April in the US, which makes it a natural time to give a gift. Order a couple of weeks ahead if you're buying for a team.
Can I put a workplace name on the shirt?
You can type any text you like, so a clinic or school name will print as written. Keep it short so it sits well on the design.
Do you have kids' designs for occupational therapy?
Yes, there are kids tees and a baby onesie for this word. They're a fun choice for a child whose parent works in the field.
What sizes do the occupational therapist shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does an occupational therapist gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
