Gifts from Ontonagon
Ontonagon is a small town on the Lake Superior shore of Michigan's Upper Peninsula, and people who grew up there tend to carry it with them. A shirt with the town name is how someone shows where they're from, whether that's a summer on the lake, a high school that everybody knew, or a family that has been in the area for generations. Because the town is small, the people who know it will notice a shirt right away, and that recognition is part of the gift. Pair the word with a second line for a year, a street, or a nickname the family used, and it becomes a shirt only that person would wear. A hoodie suits anyone who misses the cold northern air, and a mug works for the transplant who keeps a little of home on the desk at work. Since this is a place name, you can also use the second line for a graduation year or a family name.
Ontonagon gift questions
Can I add a year or a family name to an Ontonagon design?
Many designs have a second line. Type a year, a family name, or a school there, and the preview will show how it sits under the town name before you order.
Are there Ontonagon designs for kids and babies?
Yes. Kids tees, dark kids tees and baby onesies are available for this word. Use the product filter to see which designs come in each style.
What should I choose for someone who moved away?
A mug or a hoodie tends to work well, since they can use it every day. Adding a year or a street name can make it feel specific to their own history there.
What sizes do the ontonagon shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does an Ontonagon gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
