Picking a gift for an operating room assistant
An operating room assistant works behind the scenes in one of the most precise rooms in the hospital, handing over instruments, keeping the field clean and the count right, and staying on their feet through long cases. Their days are cold, quiet in the ways that matter, and fast when something changes mid-procedure. The gifts they tend to keep are the ones that acknowledge that work without fuss: a soft shirt they can wear straight from a shift, a hoodie for the chilly break room, or a mug that's clearly theirs so it doesn't end up in the scrub-room sink. What lands best is a detail that shows you know their job. Put their name on it, and add their facility or the year they started the role if that feels right. If you're buying for a whole surgical team, the Team Shop lets you pick one design and paste each person's name, so everyone gets their own shirt in their own size.
Operating Room Assistant gift questions
Can I add their name and job title to the shirt?
Yes. Type the name in the text box and the job title on a second line, if the design has one. The live preview shows how it will look before you order.
What's a good gift for someone who just started as an operating room assistant?
A hoodie or tee with their name and the year they started. It's something they'll wear through their first winter on the job and it marks the milestone.
Are there designs for kids or babies?
There are a few kids and baby designs for this word. They're useful if you want a matching shirt for a child who's proud of a parent in the operating room.
Can I order for the whole surgical team?
Yes. Use the Team Shop: choose one design, paste everyone's names, and pick a size for each person. Each shirt prints with its own name.
What sizes do the operating room assistant shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does an operating room assistant gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
