Picking a gift for an order taker
An order taker is the person who keeps a line moving, whether that's at a drive-through, a call center, a deli counter or a restaurant where the phone never stops. The job is repetitive and often thankless, with long stretches of the same questions and the occasional customer who is having a rough day. A gift that acknowledges the work lands well: a tee for the commute, a hoodie for the cold walk to the bus stop, or a mug for the break they'll finally get to take. Adding their name or the place they work turns a generic joke into something that's clearly for them. Keep the wording light, since most people in this role enjoy a bit of teasing about the job more than a sincere speech. If you're buying for a whole team at once, the Team Shop lets you pick one design and paste everyone's names, so each person gets a shirt with their own name on it.
Order Taker gift questions
Can I add a name or a store location to the design?
Yes. Many designs have a second line, so you can type a name, a shift or a location there. The live preview shows how it will look before you order.
Is there a version for kids or babies?
Some designs come as kids tees and baby onesies. Use the product filter on the page to see which ones are available for this word.
What's a good gift for someone who just started the job?
A tee or mug with their name is a good choice. It's a light way to mark the start of a new role without making it a big deal.
What sizes do the order taker shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does an order taker gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
