About this order taker gift
An order taker is the person who keeps a line moving, whether that's at a drive-through, a call center, a deli counter or a restaurant where the phone never stops. The job is repetitive and often thankless, with long stretches of the same questions and the occasional customer who is having a rough day. A gift that acknowledges the work lands well: a tee for the commute, a hoodie for the cold walk to the bus stop, or a mug for the break they'll finally get to take. Adding their name or the place they work turns a generic joke into something that's clearly for them. Keep the wording light, since most people in this role enjoy a bit of teasing about the job more than a sincere speech. If you're buying for a whole team at once, the Team Shop lets you pick one design and paste everyone's names, so each person gets a shirt with their own name on it.
