Gifts from Orosi
Orosi is a small town in Costa Rica's Cartago province, set in the Orosi Valley, where the Reventazón River runs through the hills and coffee and sugarcane farms cover the slopes. People who grew up there, or who come back to visit family, tend to carry a strong sense of place. A shirt with Orosi on it is a way to claim that place, whether the wearer lives there now or left years ago. The town is small enough that a shirt can be a conversation starter with someone from another country who has never heard of it. For the person who moved away, a mug or hoodie with the town name is a quiet reminder of home. Since the town name is the main text, you can add a second line for a year, a family name or a nickname that only the people from there would catch.
