Picking a gift for a paraglider
A paraglider pilot spends a lot of time watching the sky for thermals and checking wind on a hillside launch, and most of their gear lives in a car trunk between flights. A shirt that says Paraglider is the thing they'll reach for on a windy morning at the launch site, and it's a good way to say what they do without a long explanation to the stranger next to them. They're often in the mountains or on a coast with changing weather, so a hoodie is the layer that goes on first when the air cools off after a flight. A mug suits the pilot who sits in the parking lot after a glide, going over the flight in their head. Shopping for someone like this works best when you add a detail only a paraglider would recognize, like their club, their launch site, or the year they got their wings. Use the second line for that, and the gift will look like it was made for them and nobody else.
Paraglider gift questions
Can I add a flying site or club name to the shirt?
Yes. Many designs have a second line. Type the site, club, or the year they started flying there, and the preview will show you how it sits.
Is there a design for kids who want to fly too?
There are a few kids tees and dark kids tees with the Paraglider word. Use the product filter to see them.
Can I order shirts for my whole paragliding club?
Yes. Use the Team Shop: choose one design, paste a list of names, and pick a size for each person. Each shirt prints with its own name.
Is paragliding the same as hang gliding?
No. A paraglider is a foot-launched wing made of fabric with no rigid frame, while a hang glider has a rigid frame. If your recipient flies one of these, the Paraglider word is the right choice.
What sizes do the paraglider shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a paraglider gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.

- A mug for the post-flight debriefAn 11oz mug with their name or flying nickname is the one they'll bring to the parking lot to talk through the day's conditions.
- A dark tee for the flying clubPick a dark tee if they mostly wear black and grey, and add the club name. Matching shirts for a whole club are easy in the Team Shop.
