Gifts from Parkston
Parkston is a small town in southeastern South Dakota, and people who grew up there tend to carry it with them wherever they land. A shirt with the town name is how a former resident wears their roots to a family reunion, a college campus or a city where nobody has heard of it. Small-town pride makes a good gift because the person often has a story about the place, a street, a school or a summer job, and the design can start that conversation. For someone who moved away, a mug with Parkston on it is a daily reminder of home, and a hoodie works well for the cold months when the town's winters come back to mind. If you're shopping for a relative who still lives there, a shirt is an easy way to show you're proud of where they're from. Use the second line for a class year or a family name to make it theirs.
