Picking a gift for a patient care technician
Patient care technicians are the people who are with patients most of the day: taking vitals, helping with meals and mobility, sitting with someone who's scared at three in the morning. The job is physical and often thankless, and the gifts they keep tend to be practical things that make a long shift easier. A soft tee for a day off, a hoodie for a cold hospital hallway, a mug that's clearly theirs so it doesn't disappear into the break room. What makes it feel personal is their own title on it. Type patient care technician, or the shorter PCT, and add the unit or floor they work on, such as telemetry, med-surg or the ER. If you're buying for a whole team, one design with each person's name on their own shirt is a better thank-you than another sheet cake. Hospital appreciation weeks fall at different times depending on the facility, so it's worth checking with their unit when you order.
Patient Care Technician gift questions
Can I write PCT instead of the full job title?
Yes. Type whichever version they use at work, either in the main line or the second line. The preview updates so you can check the length before you order.
Can I add the unit or floor they work on?
Many designs have a second line. Type in the unit, such as telemetry, ICU or med-surg, and it prints under the title.
What's a good gift for someone who just finished PCT training?
A tee or hoodie with their new title is a personal way to mark the milestone, and it's useful for the first months on the floor.
Can I order shirts for my whole care team?
Yes. Use the Team Shop: choose one design, paste a list of names, and pick a size for each person. Each shirt prints with its own name.
What sizes do the patient care technician shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a patient care technician gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
