Picking a gift for a pcas
PCAs, or patient care assistants, are the people who help patients with bathing, dressing, walking and meals, and they often know a patient's routines better than anyone on the floor. They work long shifts on their feet, and their gift needs to hold up to a lot of laundry and a lot of hand sanitizer. A soft tee works well for the drive home, and a hoodie covers the chilly break room. A mug with their name keeps the morning coffee from wandering off. Put PCA on the front and add their name, unit or facility on the second line so it reads as theirs. If you're buying for a whole care team, one design with each person's name printed on their own shirt is a simple way to say thanks.
Pcas gift questions
Can I add a credential or certification to a PCA shirt?
Yes. Type it into the text box on its own line or after their name. The preview updates so you can check the spacing before you order.
Is there a day that celebrates patient care assistants?
Many healthcare employers recognize caregivers during National Nurses Week in May and other staff appreciation weeks through the year. Ordering a few weeks ahead helps during busy months.
Can I order shirts for my whole care team?
Yes. Use the Team Shop: choose one design, paste a list of names, and pick a size for each person. Each shirt prints with its own name.
What sizes do the pcas shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a pcas gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
